
Brendan Conway graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in government. He is a former Editorial Board member of The Washington Times.

Chavon Sutton graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Economics. Prior to joining NYU, she held various analyst positions on Wall Street and came to the journalism school to pursue personal finance writing and broadcast.
Emily Schmitt is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in history. She was previously employed as a staff manager at Valley Senior Services.

Joan R. Magee graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in international affairs. She is a former United Nations correspondent and freelance financial journalist with a special interest in emerging markets.

Jodi Xu graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a B.A. in international journalism. She is a former Time Magazine reporter in China and is now a Wall Street Journal Fellow at NYU.

Leah K. Taylor graduated from Morgan State University with a B.A. in communications studies. A native of Trinidad and Tobago, she has had internships with ABC and Court TV networks, and recently served as a Marketing Associate with Erickson Marketing in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lianting Tu graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai with a B.A. in English language and literature. She also earned a Masters degree in East Asian languages and cultures from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has worked as a researcher for the Japan Consumers' Cooperative Union.
Madalina Iacob graduated from the University of Bucharest with a B.A. in journalism and communication science. She also earned a Masters degree in political science from the University of Manchester. In the last three years, she covered international news stories for a Romanian 24 hour news TV channel, reporting from Istanbul, Havana, Madrid, Rome and London. She has a special interest in the Euro zone and in the emerging markets.

Marie Thibault graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Biology. Her interest in journalism developed as editor in chief of the student newspaper, The Tech, as well as various internships with NBC and Yahoo! Finance News. After graduation she worked as an associate reporter for Institutional Investor News in New York before enrolling in the BER program.
Priti Patnaik graduated from the BR Ambedkar Open University with a B.A. in economics and also earned a B.A. in genetics, microbiology and chemistry from Osmania University. As a business journalist from India, she has reported in the last five years on the banking and insurance industries. She worked with The Economic Times and the Business Standard in New Delhi.

David Ryan Williams received a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from Oregon State University. Before coming to NYU, he worked as a sales associate at Smith Barney and as a P&L derivative analyst for Drake Management, a New York hedge fund.
